What’s more, Epic International Staffing offers nursing opportunities in over 30 states. Keep in mind that the state where you apply may not be the same state where you get deployed, as this can depend on various factors, including the availability of positions and vacancies.

Scroll down ahead to discover the 30 states where Epic International operates, along with the top four states where they are currently most active.

Here are the four states where Epic International Staffing is most active:

  • Oklahoma: If you're a Filipino nurse planning to save more, living in Oklahoma can be a great option for you, as the cost of living in this state is about 12% lower than the national average. Housing costs are particularly affordable, often around 27% lower than the average. Other expenses, such as utilities and groceries, are budget-friendly. Oklahoma is also a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) State. The NLC allows nurses to practice in other NLC states without needing to apply for a new one each time, making it more convenient and eliminating the expenses associated with acquiring additional licenses.

  • New Mexico: Known as the “Land of Enchantment,” New Mexico features a blend of European American, Native American, and Mexican cultures. The state offers a unique lifestyle with its rich culture and beautiful landscapes. From vibrant cities like Santa Fe to peaceful small towns, there are plenty of places to enjoy. Living in New Mexico is relatively affordable, with a cost of living about 5% lower than the national average. Housing costs are 8% lower, and utilities are 10% lower. New Mexico is also an NLC state, just like Oklahoma. If you're searching for a state that offers cultural heritage and outdoor activities, like exploring the picturesque desert and mountain regions, then New Mexico might be for you.

  • South Carolina: Nicknamed "The Palmetto State," South Carolina is filled with palmetto trees and fragrant yellow jessamine flowers. The state is widely known for its warm climate and the welcoming vibe of Southern hospitality, making you feel a sense of comfort and friendliness towards the locals. Compared to the national average, South Carolina has a cost of living that is significantly 6% lower. Housing costs in this state are around 21% lower than average, and utilities and other basic necessities are also quite affordable. South Carolina is also a participant in the Nurse Licensure Compact, which allows nurses to practice in other participating states.

  • Michigan: Commonly known as the Great Lakes State, Michigan is a prime spot for freshwater activities and scenic beauty as it borders four of the five Great Lakes in the U.S. Michigan offers a lower cost of living as compared to other states with 4% below average, making it easier for nurses to maintain a comfortable lifestyle. The state also has a strong demand for healthcare professionals, with a projected 6% growth in nursing positions through 2031, ensuring a stable job market for nurses like you.

In order to take full advantage of your USRN career journey, it is essential to familiarize yourself with the states where you may be deployed.
